About the WCDP
The World Conference on Drowning Prevention is the premier global event for drowning prevention, water safety, and lifesaving research. Organized by the International Life Saving Federation, WCDP 2025 will be hosted by the Egyptian Diving and Lifesaving Federation. Join us this November at the Park Regency Sharm El Sheikh Resort in Sinai, Egypt, to collaborate with experts, share innovative research, and shape global water safety initiatives.

Abstract Submission
After a successful first round of abstracts, we are pleased to announce a second call for abstract proposals, focusing on the following conference themes:
– Assessing the impact of drowning
– Emergency response and medical care
– Disaster management and climate change
– Drowning in low and middle-income countries
– Government role in drowning prevention
Additionally, we are welcoming abstract proposals on:
– Drowning prevention across Africa
– Drowning prevention across the Middle East
